Tosa West Theatre’s pilot production of Dear Evan Hansen will include a special Supportive Performance on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Dear Evan Hansen: High School Version (PG-13) is a poignant and timely musical that explores what it means to feel alone, to struggle and to seek connection in a noisy world. The story follows Evan Hansen, a socially anxious teen, whose entanglement in a lie following a classmate’s suicide unexpectedly transforms him and his community.
⚠️ Content Advisory: PG-13. The show explores powerful, real-world topics impacting teens today - including depression, family dysfunction, mental health, school bullying, suicide, the dangers of social media, and substance use. While the production is designed with care, it contains sensitive material that may be triggering for some. Viewer discretion is advised.
🫶 Mental health resources will be available in the lobby before and after each performance.
